How DRA e-Law Can Help

When electronic data is seized, legal counsel ends up with a large volume of information on their hands. Not all of this information is relevant to the case. To find these potentially relevant files, all of the data has to be sorted through, examined, indexed and analyzed—a task that can take hours and even days! The relevant files are then coded and compiled into a database, where they can be easily reviewed by all interested parties.

Once you have your data, DRA e-Law offers various ways to take control of it. With the use of keyword searching, de-duplication and state-of-the-art near de-duplication technology, your data is always manageable. Our Maryland e-discovery attorneys are always available to assist you with searching and data analysis, including:

  • Metadata extraction
  • Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
  • Tagged Image File Format (TIFF)
  • Bates Stamping
  • Custom Endorsing
  • Custom Load Files
  • Supports all Review Platform

By using state-of-the-art technology provided by www.discoveryassistant.com, we can help you bring processing in house. If you would like to help reduce your vendor bills or create your own profit center, DRA e-Law can help by bringing the technology to you, as well as training your staff on how to use it.

What is E-Discovery

Electronic discovery (e-discovery) is a process of seeking, locating, securing and researching electronic data that can be used as evidence in a criminal or civil legal case. The electronic data can be located on a specific device, such as a cellphone or a computer hard-drive, or it can exist in an online network, such as Facebook, Google Drive or another cloud-based system.

Also, referred to as electronically stored information (ESI), the electronic data subject to e-discovery may include such items as emails, images, databases, text files, voicemails, audio and video files, software, browsing history, websites, social media, chat logs, and many other forms of digital content. Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) is used to manage this information and present it in an easy-to-use format.
